Start with a challenge...

When thinking about a professional development session, it may be useful to think of a challenge you are trying to overcome as part of a bigger project. Take a look at some of the sample scenarios.

Providing Resources

Absenteeism is still an issue in our schools, we want to ensure that our students are not falling further behind due to access to resources.

Evidence Collection

We will be going through our accreditation and we will need to collect data, evidence samples, and coordinate workgroup meetings.

Learning Portfolios

As part of our school academic plan, we will be having all students create a digital learning portfolio.

Engagement

As we return to in-person learning, one of the areas we would like to address is active learning to improve student engagement.

Student Safety and Privacy

With the increase of digital tools in our classrooms, it is vital that we provide support to our teachers on keeping our students safe.

Sharing Information

As a state team, we want to provide access to documents with our tri-level professional learning community.
